WHS is an A Level school. We consider it the best preparation for university for our students - universities value the depth of knowledge A Levels bring and we believe you will enjoy really getting into your chosen subjects.
You can choose from a list of over 22 A Level subjects, as detailed in the A Level Choices booklet.
You may also take an Extended Project Qualification, EPQ, in a subject of your choice, connected or unconnected to your A levels. We've introduced the scheme as we believe it provides a good 'extra string to your bow' when you're applying for university places. It shows you are keen to take on extra academic commitments, to apply yourself outside the curriculum and most of all it should, we all hope, bring out your passion in a particular subject area.
