How to choose a school for your daughter?

We recommend asking the following questions when visiting a school:

• How will you help her reach her academic potential?
• What is your stance on discipline?
• How will you nurture and support my child as she grows into a teenager?
• How much homework will my daughter be set?
• Will she be encouraged in music, art and drama?
• How much time in the week is committed to sports?
• Will she be able to pursue other non-academic interests?

Observe and speak with students as well as teachers - are they the sort of girls you would like your daughter to have as friends? Are they well-mannered and do they take pride in their school?
