Monday 19th March 2013: It was with much sadness that we learnt of the death of Miss Peggie Hunt last week. Miss Hunt taught for a very long time at Wimbledon High School and was much loved and respected as an RS teacher and senior member of staff. 

The Olympic Reunion on Saturday 22^nd September 2012 was a great success, with around 100 Old Girls, former staff and current staff enjoying a drinks reception, a delicious lunch in the Senior Hall and the chance to catch up with old friends and have a tour of today’s school with some of our Sixth Form students.  

The Olympic theme was reinforced by a display of pictures from all the Games since 1936, and in the library was a huge array of archive photos and past school magazines, which proved a very popular part of the tour.

Professor Dame Louise Johnson, who graduated from Wimbledon High School in 1959, sadly died on 25th September. Her obituary in the Daily Telegraph details her remarkable achievements in the field of protein crystallography. We at WHS send our condolences to her family.
