Head's Welcome

One of London’s top day schools, Wimbledon High School is known for its excellent academic results

In 2015, 94% of all GCSE grades were A* or A and 99% A* - B.  At A level in 2015, 64% were A* - A.

Head Jane Lunnon says:

"This is an academic school, full of girls who want to learn and staff who are passionate to teach them. It's a place of curiosity and exploration, where the joy of learning is palpable.

"Wimbledon High is also a place of opportunity and fun: sport, music, drama and a host of co-curricular clubs, allowing girls to have a go, to be part of a lively community, and as they develop into young adults, to show leadership. The school's motto, Ex Humilis Excelsa ('from small things, greatness') sums this up beautifully. Do come and experience WHS life for yourself - we look forward to welcoming you."

Please bear with us while a new website is under construction behind the scenes. School news is being posted on Firefly in the interim.
