Life in our Junior School has often been full of such excitement since we introduced our new creative curriculum. Year 1, in this case, were embarking on a term’s learning, integrating science, arts, history, geography under the ‘turrets and tiaras’ theme. Can we measure the dragon as it grows? What are myths and what is fact? Capturing their imagination, the children’s natural creativity is tapped, their confidence grows, their writing becomes full of elaborate description. This, alongside teaching core skills of numeracy and literacy, brings outstanding academic achievement, and, just as importantly, a joy of learning that we hope will be with them for life.
Such an example of what might happen in the classroom is of course only half the story: an education here brings the opportunity for music, dance, sports and a whole host of enriching extra-curricular activities. A selective school, we assess girls for 4+ and 7+ entry and are accepting applications for 2013 entry until Friday 5 October this year.

Admissions 2013
Our Junior School Open Morning will be held on Tuesday 25th September. Please see the Junior Admissions page for details about our assessments and dates for 2013 entry.
Note for current parents and those starting in September 2012: Monday 7th January 2013 is our day of second round assessments for 2013 entry and as such, pupils from Key Stage 1 (Reception, Years 1 and 2) will not be in school on this day.
