Key Stage 3

Years 7, 8 and 9.

All girls follow a broad and balanced curriculum throughout the three years, studying English, Mathematics, Science, two Modern Languages, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Drama, ICT, Art, Design and Technology (Graphic Products, Food Technology, Textiles Technology, Product Design) and Music, which has a special place in the school, both in and outside the classroom. 

In addition to French, students take either Spanish (two thirds) or German (one third) from Year 7. Latin is introduced in Year 8 and continues in Year 9.

In Year 7, the PE curriculum consists of Hockey, Netball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Athletics, Tennis and Rounders.

Year 7 students can expect about one hour's homework to be set, five nights a week.
