You may become Sports Captain or House Captain; you could lead the Environment committee, or lead the school as Head Girl - what you get out of your 6th Form experience at WHS depends wholly on what you put in.

We'll give you every opportunity to have a leading role - literally on the stage, if you enjoy performing in drama or music or by assuming one of the many positions of responsibility that are open for 6th Formers. You may direct Year 7 House drama or direct the proceedings duringt off-timetable day; you may organise a fundraising event or run a weekly club or society. Girls lower down the school will look up to you and listen to you. Take the opportunity to hone your leadership skills - share your interests and learn how to manage others.

All of this activity will not only make you happier and more fulfilled but it will also help greatly with future career prospects and, in the shorter term, with your self-esteem and even your performance in university interviews.
