Extreme Engineering!

Year 5 and 6 have been having a great time at the new 'Extreme Engineering' club, led by Scientist in Residence, Mrs Alex Farrer.

The girls spent their time at the new STEAM inspired lunchtime club working in small teams to find practical solutions to a range of extreme challenges!

Over the past few weeks, the girls have been experimenting with tomatoes, plastic cartons, string and metal poles to ensure that their cartons of tomatoes transport safely down the lift without causing any destruction! Not as easy as it sounds...
