Senior School Curriculum

Wimbledon High School has a committed and high calibre teaching staff, whose dedication and expertise motivates our students to share a love of learning. We follow the National Curriculum as our base and work beyond it.

Emphasis is placed on the core subjects of English, Maths and Science (with the three sciences taken separately at GCSE) and for GCSE all students must continue to take one modern foreign language. Opportunities are available for all students to develop their study of humanities, art and design, music and drama, as well as other languages and PE. The developing of life skills through Citizenship and PSHE is an important complement to the academic life of the school. ICT is an integral part of all learning.
