We passionately believe that balance and breadth across everything we offer in the Sixth Form are key to complement the depth and specialism of your A Levels. Academic enrichment comes from our extensive lecture programme - outside speakers are regularly invited to give Rosewell Lectures; our teachers lead Mind Matters sessions after school and girls themselves give WimTalks - think Ted talks.
Over the year, every Tuesday afternoon Years 11-13 have a double period of Enrichment where they will have access to up to four courses, each six weeks long. The focus is very much on doing something completely different - learning a new skill, perhaps, or ‘giving back’ to the community through music performances or by helping in local primary schools.
Enrichment is also part of the fabric of Sixth Form in a less formal way, from conversations over toast in the common room to mentoring younger girls at lunchtime 'surgeries' in specific subjects.
