The role:
Wimbledon High School is seeking an experienced, and passionate individual to join our Junior School team as a Class Teacher with a specialism in KS2 Maths. This is an excellent opportunity to gain leadership experience at a leading independent school.
The position will initially involve taking on the role of Head of Upper Junior School Maths for a period of maternity cover. During this time, you will lead the development and delivery of maths education, shape the subject’s direction, and provide strategic leadership. Following this maternity cover, you will return to your core role as Class Teacher, continuing to deliver outstanding teaching across the Junior School curriculum.
In this unique role, you will play a leading part in the development of maths education in the Junior School. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging lessons, offer support to individual students and contribute to the school’s pastoral system. Your leadership during the maternity cover period will be crucial in supporting the continued success of Upper Junior School Maths, with a focus on curriculum planning, teaching strategies, and pupil progress.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with a proven track record of excellent classroom teaching. You will bring a passion for teaching Maths, specifically in Key Stage 2, and a clear vision for how to elevate the subject within our school. You will be able to communicate this vision effectively and inspire both pupils and staff to excel in maths.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join a fun, challenging, and exceptional Senior Management team in one of the country’s leading girls’ schools.
As Assistant Head – Head of Sixth Form at Wimbledon High School, you will lead the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular provision at the school, creating a connected, vibrant, and scholarly learning environment that helps staff and students to thrive. Working with your colleagues in the Senior Management team, you will help to formulate and implement the whole-school strategic vision, planning for any future change and development in the Sixth Form in line with the school’s stated objectives.

The role:
Wimbledon High School is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Administrator to play a key role providing operational health and safety administrative support to the Estates Manager, and Estates Team.
Your responsibilities will include managing the estates maintenance calendar, assist with PPM compliance management & document control, and assisting with scheduling of preventative, remedial and reactive works as required.
In addition to the above, you will also prepare monthly reports with regards to health and safety compliance, as well as provide administrative support with the Estates Team’s finances and contract management.
About you:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety compliance
- Supervisory/management experience
- Helpdesk/CAFM management experience
- Knowledge and experience of PPM and scheduling
- Experience of contractor management
- Experience of document control
You will also need strong IT skills, familiarity with Microsoft office, and the ability to use online school systems for helpdesk management and maintaining compliance records.
