Adventum

Our bespoke academic curriculum, Adventum, puts philosophical thinking at the heart of learning. Right from Reception, we ask our girls to grapple with life’s big questions:

  • What does it mean to be human?
  • Is there such a thing as free will?
  • What does power look like?

As pupils embark on a journey of discovery, they learn skills and knowledge, how to work independently and how to collaborate and act with compassion, confidence and agency.

Specialist teaching in Music, Languages, Sport, Art and Science complements exceptional classroom teaching and gives every child the opportunity to flourish in her learning.

Experientia Scholarship Programme

All Upper Junior School pupils in Year 3 to Year 6 participate in our Experientia Scholarship  Programme. Designed to go beyond the conventional curriculum, it comprises a range of short courses exploring elements of both classical ‘enlightenment’ and progressive ‘modernist’ thinking, to challenge their view of the world.

Our Experientia programme celebrates and embraces the different backgrounds, heritage, language and traditions of children across the UK. It helps our girls understand what has gone before them and the meaningful part they can play in our globalised and digital world.
