Alumnae give back

At Wimbledon High our partnership and community fundraising work is a hugely important part of school life. We are therefore always proud to hear of Wimbledon High alumnae using their time and talents to raise money for charity and awareness of good causes.

Alumna and accomplished singer Ayla Hill née Dogruyol (Class of 1997) is holding a Christmassy musical soirée on 27 November in aid of St George’s Hospital Charity.

And alumna Camilla Morton’s annual Ever After Garden will be running until 16 December (3pm to 9pm every day) and has this year relocated to Duke of York Square, just off the King’s Road in Chelsea. The garden not only raises funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity it also gives Londoners the chance to dedicate a flower to someone who has passed away. The garden has become a much-loved, winter-time destination and a poignant part of London’s seasonal landscape over the last six years and it has raised over £1.2 million since its launch in 2019. This year, the garden features 30,000 illuminated white roses.
