We had the best night hosting this year’s Battle of the Bands. The standard of music was incredibly high, and we had a mix of everything from Ghostbusters, School of Rock and Nirvana, to Top Gun, Gangsta’s Paradise and Harry Styles.

It was fantastic having our partner schools Rutlish School, Ark Putney Academy, Ricards Lodge and Harris Academy Wimbledon join us. The overall winner by public vote was WHS’s Happily Never After, singing ‘Holding Out for a Hero’ by Bonnie Tyler.

We were delighted to be raising funds for our Sixth Form’s chosen charity EmpowerHerUK, which supports girls and young women who have experienced the loss of a mother.
