A scene from the Year 9 production of Twelfth Night. Three students wearing silver sparkly trousers and bright pink jackets are standing next to each other, each looking shocked with their mouths open. One of them is holding a piece of paper in front of her. Standing next to them is a female character with long dark brown hair, wearing a floor-length black dress, and a character wearing brown trousers and a white top with hair tied into a ponytail. Two actors both wearing trouers and button-up shirts are standing in the background

Behind-the-scenes of Twelfth Night

Assistant Stage Manager Katherine, Y12, talks about working backstage on the production of Twelfth Night

However, all the magic on the stage couldn’t happen without the support of the backstage team. Assistant Stage Manager Katherine, Y12, talks about what it is like to work on a theatre production.

What were your responsbilities, and what interested you in taking on a backstage role?
