In March our A Level German students had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Goethe-Institut, the German cultural and language institute, in South Kensington. During the day they learned about career opportunities with German and got to explore the wealth of resources the Goethe-Institut has to offer. During a group discussion they impressed staff from the Goethe-Institut and their teachers with their level of German. To round off an enriching day, they enjoyed a showing of “Der ganz große Traum”, a film about football being introduced to Germany in the late 19^th century.
