Sixth Form Bake Off is back!

Sixth Form Bake Off is back!

Last week each tutor group gathered together to collectively bake a showstopping cake to present to the judging panel – Mrs Rodgers, Mrs McIlroy, Mrs Cooper, Mrs Johnson, and Mrs Tamang.

From ‘Reading’ Festival designs (to tie in with this year being the Year of Reading!), Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and the famous chocolate cake from ‘Matilda’, it was a tough one to judge. But ultimately 13LHG were crowned this year’s Star Bakers – congratulations!

A circular cake. The sides are iced in yellow and the top is iced in blue. The top is designed to look like space with a model of a rocket with planets and stars. The side is decorated with green circles. The words MACBETH WAR AND PEACE are written on the cake
A large square sheet cake decorated with book covers from 22 different books. Some of the book covers include 'It Ends with Us', 'Jungle Book', 'Hunger Games' and 'Noughts and Crosses'
