For example, alumna Alison Taylor is running the London Marathon this year for Shelter. She said running the marathon in 2023 was one of the best (and most unexpected!) experiences of her life. Her motivation? What matters most to her is raising as much awareness about Shelter and the work it does to campaign for the prevention of homelessness and to support those who are at risk. Alison is also match-funding to her target to Breast Cancer UK – so a double impact!
