The end of the half term saw the return of House University Challenge, with teams from Meredith, Hastings, Arnold and Scott gathered to test their knowledge against their fellow houses.
Each House competed through multiple rounds, answering questions ranging from TV theme tunes, classic literature, mathematical problems, world history and popular culture.
And, with a team consisting of Kenzie, Jam, Alice and Harriet, the winner was…
Meredith!
The following week, we saw not one but two student vs staff rounds of House University Challenge. The Student All-Stars and Meredith, the 2026 student champions, each took on the Staff All-Stars – Ms Kennedy, Mrs Rodgers, Mr Dawes and Mr Dunn; and Mr Chong, Mr Cawsey, Mrs Gilchrist and Mrs Johnson.
The student teams both played well, but ultimately the Staff All-Stars came away victorious.
