Our rowing crews showed real heart, teamwork, and resilience at this year’s National Schools’ Regatta. With tricky conditions and top-level competition, we’re proud of every athlete who gave it their all.
J14s
– W J14 1st Octo had some bad luck with equipment in their time trial, which meant a tough start. But they came back fighting in the D Final, giving it everything and placing 1st.
– W J14 2nd Octo smashed their time trial and finished 4th in the B Final- a great result!
– W J14 Quad raced in one of the biggest events of the regatta, with only half the crews making it to finals. They placed 4th in their final- a brilliant effort.
J15s
– The W J15 4+ finished 3rd in the B Final with a solid race down the course.
– The W J15 1st 8+ missed out on the A Final by just one second, then came back and won the B Final in style. Incredible!
Seniors
– J16 8+ finished 5th in the A Final- a great race in a tough field.
– J18 Champ 4+ handled the heavy winds well and placed 5th overall after a strong weekend of racing.
– Hannah S, racing in the Champ 1x, placed 38th in a packed field- amazing effort in such a tough event.
– Sadly, the Champ 4- and 2- events were cancelled due to weather. We know how ready those crews were, and we’re proud of the work they put in
