Over the last term, Year 6 have been learning business and entrepreneurial skills with Putting Young Minds to Work, learning all about business and how to develop their entrepreneurial skills. Pupils worked in groups, deciding on a product or service that they wanted to sell; working out a budget and advertisement strategy; before making the products themselves, culminating in their Enterprise Fair this week where they sold a host of inventive and eye-catching items to the rest of the school.
With innovative sales and marketing strategies, all teams made a substantial profit, which will be donated to a chosen project with Wimbledon Common. Watch this space for future up and coming businesses!
