Y8 linguists lead Russian poetry workshop

Following an initiative introduced by the Queen’s Exchange at Oxford University to encourage students to consider language ab initio degree courses, Daria and Molly in Y8 ran a poetry workshop in Russian. They introduced the Cyrillic alphabet before working through a poem in Russian with some of our linguists from Y7-Y12. Their translations will then be entered for the Anthea Bell creative translation competition.

Thank you to Daria and Molly for leading this initiative.
