Last week Year 6 pupils Eshaal and Helena were selected to represent Wimbledon High Junior School at the Junior Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Forum at the GDST Trust Office.
Joining pupils from other schools across the GDST, the forum focused on supporting the girls to gather and represent pupil voice within their schools and using creative ways to express EDI themes and ideas. Guest speaker Antonio Da Veiga Rocha, Founder, KinSite Consultancy & Coaching, gave a rousing talk on the power of empathy and seeing the world through the eyes of other people.
It was a truly enriching day, with carefully planned activities and discussions that left the girls feeling empowered. Find out more about EDI in the GDST here.
