Sixth Fit

Wimbledon High students playing tennis

Your Choice

While we all know the importance of keeping active for body and mind, you might want a change from the team sports that have categorised school life until now. This is why in sixth form we offer ‘Sixth Fit’, a variety of different sports and physical activities on a Wednesday afternoon.

Examples include: Boot Camp Fitness, Boxing, Martial Arts, Self Defence, Zumba, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Pilates, Tennis Coaching, Table Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Personal Training, Yoga, Street Dance, Squash Coaching, Golf.

And there are lots of co-curricular options available for those who want more…

Performance Sport

Our top performing sportswomen in sixth form represent school and country.

Mia in Year 13 rows for Great Britain, recently racing in the Home International Regatta and winning two gold medals for England.

Class of 2024 alumnae Amelie and Katie are studying in the US on sport scholarships for hockey and rowing.

Gymnast Maddie combined school life with competing for Team NZ in gymnastics, and we have cheered on top swimmers and track athletes as they have risen to the top of their sport while at Wimbledon High.

This year 16 Wimbledon High students from Years 10-13 worked as ball girls at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
