Learning support

Small group work for girls who would benefit from a more intensive approach to a particular skill can take place in and out of the classroom. Examples of groups which work on specific areas include: maths, times tables, writing, reading, spelling, phonics, fine motor skills, social skills and working memory.

We continually assess our support; our approach is fluid and our aim is for girls to be equipped with skills which enable them to thrive in the classroom.

Some pupils may be put forward for external assessment if our Head of Neurodiversity and Learning Support feels they may be neurodivergent. We support families through this process and at all times encourage girls to be proud of their learning differences.

In our Senior School we've been proud to have run Project Flip, putting students at the heart of our thinking about how best to support those with hidden differences.
