Religious Studies

Year 7 have been learning about key characters from Genesis in their Religious Studies lessons.

This culminated in an attempt to replicate some of the colours that may have been used in Joseph’s coat (Gen 37:3). With the help of a scientist in residence, pupils extracted colours from beetroot, spinach, and cabbage and dyed wool and linen. As you can see, the results were rather spectacular, so it wasn’t a surprise to learn Joseph’s brothers had been jealous.
