Friends of Wimbledon High support Perseid pupils at play

We are delighted to see the results of our support for our partner school Perseid School in Merton in the form of fantastic new enhanced play spaces at their Upper School site. Friends of WHS organised their annual Summer Fun and Run event at Nursery Road on Sunday 26 June, with over 150 girls from Reception to Year 8 participating, and 50% of the proceeds from the event went towards Perseid’s fundraising for the project.

Perseid is an all-age London Borough of Merton day school for learners with Severe Learning Difficulties and is one of several positive educational partnerships in Merton with whom Wimbledon High School has developed strong links.  

We wish all those at Perseid many hours of fun in their new space!
