Netball Workshop with England Netballer Ellie Rattu

This Wednesday, Year 8 and 9 students were joined by professional netballer Ellie Rattu for their Sports class at Nursery Road. 

In 2021, Ellie was called to represent England A for the first time during the Vitality Roses Reunited Series, and in the same year she made her Netball Super League debut for London Pulse.  

"We found the session on Wednesday morning with Ellie really helpful as it was nice to experience a different method of coaching. We were introduced to new drills that we are going to continue doing in the future. It was great to get feedback as a group that everyone could use. As Ellie is a young professional netball player, it was inspiring to see how she made a job out of a sport she loves." - Immy W, Year 8 student

We're looking forward to hearing from Ellie on Monday 6 February at 5.30pm, when she will be delivering an online talk about her experience of elite Netball.
