In a jam-packed sporting season, we've seen some phenomenal wins for Wimbledon High teams this Autumn. Here are a few highlights:

  • Having qualified for the National Swimming Finals, we were delighted to celebrate coming 4th in the country in the Juniors category (Years 7 and 8) and 9th nationally in the Seniors.
  • We were U19 floor and vault champions in Surrey in Gymnastics.
  • WHS hockey players won the GDST U15 and U19 Hockey Cup!
  • Both our U12 and U13 teams came through to the finals of the In2hockey tournaments.
  • Our U12, U13, U15 and U16 netball teams are all through to the Netball Sisters n’ Sport cup quarter finals.
  • Within a rowing season a little hampered of late by red boards on the river, Team Bungo were fastest in our annual fundraising Ergathon.

In addition, we've celebrated a number of individual successes, ranging from fencing to ballroom dancing, to swimming, and we were all thrilled to see international tennis player Hannah K, at just 14 years, win the prestigious Orange Bowl junior championships in Florida this month.

Whatever your sport, we thank all students and coaches for their dedication to training and fixtures, and all the parents for your support so far this academic year.

We look forward to more success and fun on the pitches, courts, floor and river and in the pool in 2024!
