Celebrating reading - Year 6 head to Senior library

Year 6 were delighted to be welcomed to the old Senior School library by a group of Year 7 girls on Tuesday morning.

Each girl was given a copy of ‘The Island at the End of Everything’ by Kiran Millwood Hargrave ,after May Owen, Year 12 English Subject Leader, had kindly introduced the themes of the book to them.

After drinks and cake (book shaped, naturally!), the girls enthusiastically took part in a wonderful variety of group activities organised by Year 7 on the theme of the book.
