Community Carol Service

To cap off our Christmas celebrations last week, we held our first ever Community Carol Service with students, staff, parents and members of the wider WHS community. 

It was fitting that we reprised the carol written by one of our very own sixth formers, Phoebe C (first performed earlier this month at the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols) - a beautiful piece, Spellbound; and a carol commissioned by WHS: The Magi, by composer Will Todd. Chamber Choir performed a wonderful rendition of Balulalow by Benjamin Britten and the evening concluded with extracts from Handel's Messiah.
