Careers in Finance event

On Tuesday evening a panel of parents and alumnae joined together to talk to our Sixth Formers about careers in Finance.

The panellists Lukas Kolff (chair and WHS parent), Natasha Carlile (Class of 2013), Rita Dhut (GDST Trustee), Hester White (WHS parent), Priti Verma (Class of 1995) and Graham Thomas (WHS parent), were absolutely fascinating. They explained the variety of roles available in finance, and their excitement over the change one can make to the world through working in the industry. They also highlighted the strides the industry has made in recent years to become more inclusive. Students asked intriguing questions during the panel, and this was followed up by individual chats with the panellists over juice and crisps after the talk. We hope the evening has inspired some of our young adults to pursue a career in finance!
