Chinese Pen Friend Programme

Over the last two months, 23 girls across Year 7 to 10 have participated in the Chinese Pen Friend Programme - a brilliant way to practise their Mandarin, while the students in Beijing practise their English skills. 

During these sessions, the girls have shared their interests and completed projects on the theme of 'the environment' with their friends in Beijing.

WHS Mandarin Teacher, Mrs Fang said, "I have received lovely feedback from students and teachers of our partner school. Our girls have impressed them not only with their enthusiasm, but also with lots of fun ideas they have brought to the students in China."
