Scholars' Recital B

Congratulations to 7 of our music scholars who performed in an amazing recital on Friday 10th March.

Izzy Nunn opened the recital with a wonderfully lyrical performance before Anna Leach wowed the audience with her technical brilliance in her performance of a piece of Brahms. Miranda Porter, playing the piano, showed excellent poise in a rendition of a Rachmaninov prelude whilst Julia Flint showed a real sense of control in her performance of the slow movement from Weber’s Bassoon Concerto. Alice Nunn showed beautiful lyricism on the cello in Gounod’s Ave Maria, before Zoe Puleston wowed the entire audience with a characterful performance of a show tune. The performance of the day however goes to Grace Kim for her ambitious, virtuosic and lively performance of Kabalevsky’s Violin Concerto, showing impressive technique for a pupil who has only just started her senior education.
