Exploring the art of Chinese Calligraphy

Did you know this Tuesday was Chinese Language Day? A day to celebrate one of the most complex languages to learn. 

We followed Mandarin Club to see what they were up to this week, and we found Mrs Fang teaching a handful of girls the basics of Chinese Calligraphy. They learned techniques for character making, such as how to hold the brush properly, and then they all had a chance to practise writing out Chinese Characters themselves using reusable water paper (great for making mistakes because it will just disappear!).
