To further the girls' learning about WW1, Year 4 visited the Poppy Factory in Richmond this week.
They enjoyed learning about why the poppy is used as a symbol of remembrance, the story of the first Poppy Day in 1921 and the history of the Poppy Factory in London. The girls also had a tour of the factory and had the opportunity to make lots of individual poppies as well as several wreaths.
