Year 2 Musical - 'The Litter Muncher'

Year 2 raised the rafters of the Rutherford Centre last week with their wonderful show The Litter Muncher. We were transported to Lazy Daisy Village where residents were falling short of keeping things tidy, leaving the poor litter munchers overworked and exhausted. Eventually, after the litter munchers go into hibernation, the residents of Lazy Daisy Village see the error of their ways and start to clean up their rubbish, working together to make their home beautiful once more. 

The plot unfolded with gorgeous singing in between each scene (we'll all be singing Munch, Munch, Munch and What a Load of Rubbish for weeks!), fabulous choreography and some lovely expressive acting too.
