Checkmate?

On Sunday 5 February, the team of Parisa, Alexia, Devnaa, Elizabeth and Anantara attended the U-9 EPSCA (English Primary Schools Chess Association) regional heats at Therfield School.

The team went on to beat Aldro School in a tense match, and have qualified for the semi-finals of the national competition - well done to all the girls! Additionally, Parisa has been shortlisted for the Surrey squad, and we are looking forward to her representing the Surrey team in the spring.
