Crown jewels and boat trips for Year 1

It’s been an exciting week for Year 1 as they have spent a couple of days exploring the sights of London…

On Monday they took the Clipper boat down the river from Embankment Pier to Greenwich.  All the girls had a lovely time seeing the London landmarks from the River Thames and then visiting Greenwich Park. 

Then, on Wednesday, Year 1 went to The Tower of London and had a lovely trip in the hot sunshine. All the girls saw the White Tower, the Crown Jewels and learnt about how The Tower of London used to be a zoo.
