Animal music making!

Year 1 have been learning about how composers represent animals in music this term.

They have listened and discussed musical elements that capture the characteristics of the animal in pieces ranging from Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals to the nursery rhyme Three Blind Mice. The girls then took these ideas and composed their own animal music thinking carefully about using appropriate pitch, tempo and dynamics.
