At WHS we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The school takes its responsibilities very seriously.
As well as ensuring the school's policies and procedures support its safeguarding responsibilities, the school works in close partnership with pupils and their families and with diverse communities and child protection agencies.
We were inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate under their new inspection framework in November 2023. You can read the highlights and the full report below.

We have in place a number of policies and procedures which are available to parents of current and prospective pupils, with the aim of keeping everyone in our community safe, as well as helping us strive to meet our aims. In relation to the formal procedure for complaints, in the academic year 2022 - 2023, the school registered one official parental complaint.
