The community of Wimbledon High is a very special place. Girls are supportive of each other, often forming friendships between year groups, and Sixth Formers learn there is a different dynamic between students and tutors in the final years of school life. A sense of belonging is very strong amongst our girls - it is one of the reasons they often tell us that WHS feels like a second family.
Just as important to us are WHS parents and WHS alumnae - all make up the wider community that is WHS and the very fabric of the school. Parents have the opportunity to get involved through the Friends of Wimbledon High School - a vibrant parent association.
We are doing ever more to try and enhance our links with WHS alumnae. Take a look and be in touch - if you were at WHS at any point in the past, we'd love to hear from you!
Finally, our girls' lives are greatly enriched by our Partnerships programme, which sees them head to local schools to help teach or mentor, or to resident care homes to perform music, among many opportunities to engage wholeheartedly with the wider community of which WHS is proud to be a part.
