The Great Science Share

The Great Science Share is a national event that happens each year with the aim to encourage young people to ask and answer their own questions about science and the world we live in.

This year we teamed up with sister schools Sheffield High, Bromley High and Kensington Prep, to plan a GDST Great Science Share about static electricity. Pupils from Reception through to Year 6 at GDST schools across the country found out the answers to their own questions using a variety of working scientific skills suitable to their age group. Sheffield High led a fabulous live lesson and we were able to see questions, photos, and results from schools across the country. What a great way to share science!
