Having been undefeated in the Sister’s n' Sport U12 Netball Cup this season, the team travelled up to Loughborough for the National Finals comprising of the top 4 in the country. After a convincing semi-final victory over The King's High School, Warwick, the team earnt themselves a well-deserved place in the Final. They had three hours between the matches so before refuelling were treated to an inspiring tour of some of the Loughborough Uni Sport Performance facilities. After a thorough warm up they were to face London rivals, Godolphin and Latymer in the Final. After a slightly nervous start chasing G+L by 5 goals, the team then settled into their rhythm and at the final whistle were level 14-14. The rules then stated that play then resumed from the team who had possession on that final whistle - sadly for us, this was G+L, who then went on to score the next goal, declaring them victorious.

To be so close to winning wasn't easy but I'm so proud of how the team conducted themselves remaining gracious in defeat despite the result. They should be so proud of themselves for gaining a Silver Medal on this National platform - they certainly have a bright future ahead of themselves.
