Battle of the Bands 2024

It was fantastic to recently welcome bands from Harris Wimbledon, The Ark, and partner schools Ricards and Rutlish to Wimbledon High, joining WHS students to compete in the annual Battle of the Bands Competition!
This year's event was organised by Deputy Head Girl Phoebe, with proceeds going to Papyrus, a charity working with the prevention of young suicide.
It was an exhilarating evening, with music ranging from ABBA to Taylor Swift to Kaiser Chiefs. A big congratulations to all the bands that performed...but ultimately, the title of 2024 Band Champion went to Blue Nights, from Rutlish, who won for their performance of American Idiot by Green Day.
We can't wait for next year!
