WimFest 2023

WimFest 2023 took place last Friday 24 November. The Student Leadership Team (SLT) organised an off-timetable day of fun activities for Senior and Sixth Form students. Activities included face painting, silent disco, 'Just Dance', watching a film, Swift n Stitch (arts and crafts whilst listening to Taylor Swift) and more.

The day started with a live 'episode' of Taskmaster with Ms Kennedy, Mr Griffiths, Mrs Johnson, Mr Ford and Mrs Duncan. Head Girl Poorna proved a hard Taskmaster, challenging the contestants to move water from one bowl to another without touching either bowl. Available props included a baguette, a rubber glove and cling film. Very challenging indeed!

All Senior School students and staff were asked to dress as 'what you wanted to be when you grew up'. Staff outfits included an astronaut, a professional skier, a member of ABBA, Olympic gold medalist,  a mermaid and Lyra from The Golden Compass.
