Over Easter, Annabel and her horse Ali spent two days at Bury Farm for the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) National Country Championships representing Greater London and Wimbledon High.

On Thursday evening they did a clear round in the 90/95 warm-up class coming 18/75 people. On Friday was the Championship classes. In the 90/95 Championship class in both rounds, they had some unfortunate poles over very testing tracks but still came 16th. The 100/105 class was very built up and many were having poles. Ali went clear in Round 1 and then had an unfortunate two poles in Round 2. The courses were so testing that, despite finishing on 8 faults, Annabel and Ali came 10th nationally at 100/105 height. A very successful couple of days and they both had lots of fun competing at the Championships!
