Dons Local Action Group is looking for laptops/tablets and volunteers!

Morgan P. (Y12), Izzy P. (Y10) and Charlotte D’A. (Y12) have been helping Dons Local Action Group by collecting food outside Waitrose Wimbledon supermarket.

You'll remember we reported on WHS girls helping this charity earlier in lockdown - since its creation late March, Dons Local Action Group have been growing in Merton, Kingston/Surbiton and Wandsworth, tackling food poverty and digital exclusion. Over 20,000 food boxes have been delivered to vulnerable and isolated people and 500+ laptops/tablets distributed to children giving them access to remote learning. Everybody in the organisation is a volunteer and they are looking for more help - collect food donations, drivers, admin jobs, etc.
