Tennis Victory at the U11 Surrey Tennis League

Yesterday, the U11 Tennis team took part in the first Junior fixture of the year at Nursery Road against Thomas’s Battersea! They are playing in the U11 Surrey Tennis League and are in a pool with Thomas’s Battersea and Surbiton.

After a long week of rehearsals for their High School Musical production, the girls took a few games to get into it but then held their own. When playing their own pairs, the rallies were thrilling and superb tennis was played. The High School Musical training has certainly paid off as the girls were showing great confidence and teamwork!

Results:

Pair 1 vs Pair 1: 3-6 to Thomas Battersea
Pair 2 vs Pair 2: 6-3 to WHS 

Pair 1 WHS vs Pair 2 Thomas Battersea: 4-0 to WHS
Pair 2 WHS vs Pair 1 Thomas Battersea: 1-4 to Thomas Battersea

With the overall winners being WHS. Well done to: Sophie, Natalia, Beatrice and Olivia!
