Antonia McC. in Year 12 has been working with WHS parent Emma Wilson to organise a collection of donations for women in prisons.
Emma is a lawyer by training and a passionate campaigner for better treatment of women, both at the hands of the justice system and in prison. Thanks to all WHS families and staff who have kindly donated their old CDs, DVDs and books.
Students have learned a lot from Emma's expertise. "I would also recommend reading Misjustice; How British Law is Failing Women by Helena Kennedy, or other books by her as they are incredibly insightful," said Antonia.
